Hanterra Ceramics Competition 2024
Organized for the third time this year, the "Hanterra Ceramics Competition", one of Turkey´s most significant functional ceramics competitions is starting. November 6, 2023
The "Hanterra Ceramics Competition 2024", one of the most significant functional, national, and juried ceramics competitions in Turkey, is being organized for the third time, this year with the theme "Vaze". The Hanterra Ceramics Competition is organized to promote technically functional handmade ceramics and quality designs. It aims to encourage ceramic works that are of good quality and unique design, reflecting creativity and imagination, while rewarding the ceramist's time, effort, care, and imagination in creating them.
The competition is open to anyone residing in Turkey who loves to make ceramics.
The Hanterra Ceramics Competition is sponsored by Sibelco, Colorobbia Art, Valentine Clays, Mars Hobby and Studio Kilns, and Ceramila. The jury of the competition consists of noted people in their fields from Turkey and Europe such as Turkish Ceramic Artists Tuba Önder Demircioğlu and Ezgi Hakan, Interior Architect Ayhan Geveli, English Ceramics Artist Anna Thomson and Italian Curator Domenico Iaracà.
