Kadir Doğruer who has opened 13 solo exhibitions, received many awards, and published 3 cartoon books is describing his exhibition as such:

"It's been exactly 60 years; I haven't noticed... I came to this day being a doctor and drawing cartoons. I am grateful for both of my professions, I am thankful. Both my careers have helped me greatly in my personal development. I am lucky. (...) I always tried to choose a theme for the exhibitions I've opened until now. So this time when I thought about what theme I'd open the exhibition with, I couldn't find the answer for some time. Since I've been drawing cartoons for a long time, I asked myself: I've drawn lots of cartoons, even I don't remember most of my cartoons. What if I redrew the ones I've drawn until now... 60 of the cartoons that I've drawn till now, at 60 years of age. I chose 60 cartoons that I remember and love. I drew all of them anew. (...) Once again I came face to face as to how deep my love for cartoons is, my joy increased. I would like to thank the Schneidertempel Arts Center and especially dear Izel Rozental who gave me this opportunity."
