The Turkish Jewish Community published a message of gratitude to President Erdoğan on the X platform for his great contributions to the Gaza Peace. October 16, 2025
"Our Dear President,
We express our most sincere gratitude for your determined and humanitarian efforts to achieve peace in Gaza.
Each step taken to establish the ceasefire and peace serves not only to heal the wounds of the people of the region, but also to strengthen the sense of hope and trust for all humanity.
These efforts have great meaning in terms of alleviating the suffering and building a new future.
Türkiye has been a country that represents the memory of the culture of peace, justice, and coexistence for centuries. The honorable and determined stance displayed today in the light of this historical heritage, sends a powerful message that peace is possible not only for our region but also on a global scale.
On this occasion, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to you and all the valuable officials who contributed with their support and wholeheartedly believe that it will be a permanent source of inspiration on the path to peace."

The "Ottoman and Turkish Ketubbot" Exhibition
The Quincentennial Foundation Museum of Turkish Jews is opening an exhibition of Ketubbot (Jewish wedding contracts), some from forgotten corners of our homes, some as already discovered works of art, some from the walls of the collectors, some from the Chief Rabbinate Collection, on November 7th, at Schneidertempel Arts Center, after they have been cleaned and maintained.
