Members of the Turkish Jewish Community who are 18 years of age or older, Turkish citizens, and residing in Turkey will be able to vote at ballot boxes set up in numerous locations.
WHY IS VOTING IMPORTANT?
Besides Istanbul, voting will also be possible in Izmir, Bursa, and Ankara. Turkish Jewish Community officials emphasize the importance of voting, with the motto, "Every vote you cast in the election of the Chief Rabbi of Turkey is a symbol of our existence and unity."
