The collectibles of Moris Danon, one of the most important collectors of photography and ephemera about Büyükada, came to life with the book prepared by Büke Uras.

Moris Danon´s Büyükada Collection Published in a Book

The book titled "Büyükada" and published by Yapı Kredi Publications was introduced with an event organized on December 8th, at the Yapı Kredi Culture Center located in the Galatasaray district of Istanbul. During the event with a crowded group of guests, some of the photographs featured in the book were presented to the guests via slides projected on a screen.

The book "Büyükada", which is the result of a significant study, will become an essential resource for research and Büyükada enthusiasts.

The book has been published in paperback, hardcover versions, and also in English. The English translation of the book was done by Melis Seyhun Çalışar.
