Süleyman Sezen giving a speech during the October council meeting of Municipality of Atakum, in his statement regarding the Israel-Hamas war said:
"I once again commemorate Hitler with compassion for the zionist, Jewish Israel that is mixing up the world today. The world shall attain peace and tranquility once it is cleansed of Jews. The incidents in Gazze are inhumane. Israel is a terror state. I condemn the killer terror state Israel bombing women, children, and people who have settled into hospitals with United Nation's consent. Everybody is angry at Hitler in history because he was racist. Hitler has a saying; "You will curse me for each Jew I haven't killed." True words."
