Erdoğan: "Netanyahu Might Visit Turkey Around October or November"

Erdoğan, on the plane on the way back from his visit to Azerbaijan, stated to the press, "Our Ministry of Foreign Affairs is working on the date of Netanyahu's visit. I presume Netanyahu's postponed visit, which he couldn't make due to his illness, will be realized around October or November. Talks continue to ensure that this visit occurs at the most appropriate time. After that, we will also realize our visit."

President Erdoğan also spoke about the cooperation opportunities between Turkey and Israel in the energy field.

Erdoğan said, "The existence of new areas for cooperation is also a reality. Especially Europe is in search of a sustainable energy source, after the Russia-Ukraine war. We know that Israel is also looking for ways to transfer their resources to Europe. The most rational route is to deliver these resources to Europe via Turkey. We also have discussed this in our last meeting and started working on it. On the other hand, there are also cooperation opportunities regarding drilling activities. Technical studies will be carried out on this. As soon as possible, we will clarify the details such as route, schedule, and drilling locations during our meetings both in Turkey and Israel."
