A Musical Feast at Rahmi M. Koç Museum: Avi Avital & Brooklyn Rider

The American string quartet Brooklyn Rider and the famous Israeli mandolin virtuoso Avi Avital is meeting music lovers with their new projects at the 51st Istanbul Music Festival. The concert, which will bring together the innovative quartet recognized as the future of chamber music and Avital who has made history as the first mandolin artist to receive a Grammy Award nomination, invites the audience to a repertoire blending the traditional and the contemporary.

During the concert which will be hosted by the Rahmi M. Koç Museum on June 12th, besides the works of composers such as Bach, Boccherini, Assad, Shaw, and Sollima, the Türkiye premiers of the compositions of Jacobsen, Golijov, and Zhurbin will also be performed.
