´KULA´ at the Theatre Foundation of Turkey

The Theatre Foundation of Turkey has been conducting a series of conversations at Akbank Sanat titled 'Conversations on History in Our Theatre'. The aim of the conversation series is to create a discussion environment by going beyond the stereotyped approach and understanding while emphasizing that theatre is not only a stage art but also a significant source that sheds light on our collective memory.

On March 15th, in the 'Conversations on History in Our Theatre' gathering, the subject was the Sephardic Theatre. During the event, the researcher Rivka Bihar Waldman talked about the 'The Kula Play - The Fading Memory of the Istanbul Sephardic Jews' Collective Memory'.
