Israel´s ´Olive Branches´ Delegation Returned to Their Country Upon Completing Their Mission

The part of the 'Olive Branches' Delegation that had been providing medical aid for the earthquake victims in Turkey, returned to Israel after 7 days of work in the disaster areas, due to the fact that health services have started to be provided by the local staff. The decision was taken jointly by the Israeli field hospital serving in Kahramanmaraş and the Kahramanmaraş Necip Fazil Hospital. The medical aid team helped more than 470 injured people, 150 of them being children.

The Turkish Embassy in Israel has also started an aid campaign for the earthquake victims. The embassy stated that help only from within Israel would be accepted in the framework of the campaign.
