The young filmmaker Eytan Ipeker together with Özcan Vardar won the Best Editing Award at the Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival.

The film 'Burning Days', after Cannes Film Festival, was appreciated greatly also in Antalya. The jury crowned 'Burning Days', the most qualified film of the 59th Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, with nine awards. Besides Emin Alper, who was honored with the Best Director Award, Eytan Ipeker and Özcan Vardar were awarded the Best Editing Award for the work they had accomplished together.

Including elements of the political and psychological thriller genres, the film portrays the early days of a young and idealistic prosecutor in the town he had been appointed. The film seriously criticizes homophobia's becoming a state policy.

At the International Competition part, Israeli Michal Vinik was awarded the Best Director Award for his success in 'Valeria is Getting Married - Valeria Mihtatenet'. Vinik, who was among the festival guests, got on the stage and received his award personally.
