Maccabiah Games, Here We Come!

The 21st World Maccabiah Games are starting on July 14th, in Israel. The Chairman of the Maccabiah Games Arik Ze'evi made a rather assertive speech saying that this year's games will be a unique sports celebration that has never been seen before in Israel. The Israeli Olympic medalists Linoy Ashram and Artem Dalgopyat are expected to start the games by lighting the Maccabi torch during the opening ceremony at the Teddy Stadium, on July 14th.

Maccabiah Games 2022

The World Maccabiah Games is regarded as the largest sporting event organized in Israel and the second-largest in the world. This year 10,000 athletes from 60 different countries in dozens of sports are expected to participate in the event that is organized every four years with the participation of Jewish athletes from Israel and all over the world.

This year, as Turkey, we will be participating in the World Maccabiah Games with a group of 50 athletes. Our team which will leave for Israel on July 12th will be competing in seven different fields. These are mainly basketball, futsal, tennis, swimming, table tennis, chess, and athletism.

Our experienced managers and young athletes are very excited. As a team that has experienced firsthand the Maccabiah Games participation will be remembered for a lifetime, we wish our athletes will enjoy every moment of their Maccabiah adventure. We wish all our team success in the competitions.
