The First Kosher Food Vending Machine at Istanbul Airport

The first Kosher food vending machine that is under the supervision of the Chief Rabbinate of Turkey, has been opened at the Istanbul Airport. In the vending machine besides some kosher beverages, there are also kosher sandwiches with cheese and vegetables which La Casa Catering is preparing for the Istanbul Airport Operator, IGA.

The project that has started at the beginning of December 2021, is expected to improve according to the customer reactions. La Casa Catering authorities are planning to add various types of cakes, halva, brittle (crocantes - candied roasted nuts), various nuts, and fruit juices, to the Kosher vending machines. Another plan is to add canned tuna fish and tuna sandwiches to the vending machines at the Istanbul Airport.
