Istanbul Museum of Modern Art is Opening its Doors Again

The Istanbul Museum of Modern Art, which had been closed temporarily on March 17th, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, completed its preparations for a safe museum experience. The museum will be reopened for visitors on Tuesday, June 16th.

A Safe Museum Visit

It will be required to wear facemasks to be able to visit the Istanbul Museum of Modern Art. Besides the tickets that will be able to be purchased at the entrance via credit card only, the visitors will be able to make online reservations choosing the time slot to visit.

A Short Break to the Events

All educational programs and events, including guided exhibition tours and film screenings at the Istanbul Modern Cinema, will continue online only.

The Exhibitions Await Their Visitors

A collection exhibition 'Guests: Artists and Craftspeople', showcasing works created by 10 artists from all over the world together with artisans from Istanbul, and the 'Lütfi Özkök: Portraits' photography exhibition will be waiting for their visitors.
