Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca in his statement via his Twitter account commenting, "We are in a better state than yesterday", said:

"We have come to this point by administering 791,906 tests none of which has been done by chance. All of the positive diagnosed people have been checked for contact or they are being checked. To support the outcome with precautions is a must. Give us strength."

40,962 tests have been administered in the last 24 hours in Turkey. Out of these tests, 3,116 were diagnosed positive. 115 patients have lost their lives and 2,014 patients have recovered.

As per Turkey's Daily Coronavirus Chart, as of April 23rd, the total number of tests administered is 791,609, the total number of positive cases is 101,790, the total number of lives lost is 2,491, the total number of intensive care patients is 1,816, the total number of intubated patients is 982, and the total number of recovered patients is 18,491.
