96 More People Have Lost Their Lives

The death toll in Turkey has reached 908, as 96 more people have lost their lives yesterday because of the Coronavirus.

According to the data taken from the Minister of Health, yesterday, out of the 28,578 tests administered, 4,056 were diagnosed positive; 96 more people have lost their lives and 296 patients have been discharged from hospitals recovering.

As per Turkey's Daily Coronavirus Chart, as of April 9th, the total number of tests administered is 276,346, the total number of positive cases is 42,282, the total number of lives lost is 908, the total number of intensive care patients is 1,552, the total number of intubated patients is 1,017, and the total number of recovered patients is 2,142.

Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca remarked that the rise of the positive cases is now in the declining trend. Minister Koca said, "296 more of our patients have recovered. Our total number of patients that were been discharged from hospitals has reached 2,142. We are about to reach our 30,000 test target. even though the number of tests is increasing, the number of cases tends to decrease accordingly. The virus is taking its power from contact environment. Let's stay at home."
