Turkey left its mark in tennis category at 14th European Maccabi Games

Even watching the games at this ambiance was peaceful. We participated in this category with a crowded team. We competed in both juniors and Masters category. With our impressive performance, we deserved to collect and return with many medals. 

In Junior Girls category, the final game for bronze medal was played between two Turkish tennis players, Sandra Ancel and Yasmin Gulman. Yasmin Gulman won the sets and won the bronze medal. At Junior Mix Doubles final, Sani Eskinazi-Yasmin Gulman team lost and won the silver medal. At Junior Girls Doubles final, Sandra Ancel and Lisa Abuaf also lost and won the silver medal. At Masters Men’s Doubles category Semi Natan and his foreign partner won the silver medal, while in Masters Mix Doubles’ category Malka Goldstayn and her partner Bino Yerusalmi won the bronze medal. In Men’s Singles’ Category, Jojo Abuaf made it to the semi-final, impressed the audience with his brilliant moves however couldn’t win a medal.
