Online meetings during the Corona times, made the distances disappear. This way people who are striving to keep the Ladino (Judeo Espagnol) language alive, had the chance to come together frequently.
In this context, a talk show program was started at the beginning of August. This program called 'Enkontros de Alhad (Sunday Meetings)' had started to be broadcasted via Zoom, but due to the dense attendance, it also started to bring together the viewers on Facebook and YouTube.
On the program broadcasted on Sunday, August 23rd, the Ottoman Turkish Sephardic Culture Research Center Director and Editor of Şalom Newspaper's El Amaneser and Judeo Espagnol pages Karen Gerşon Şarhon hosted her guest Silvyo Ovadya.
