NDS Lizi Behmoaras Translation Award Found its Owner
The Notre-Dame de Sion Literature Awards were presented to their owners at a ceremony held at the Palais de France (French Palace) in Galatasaray, Istanbul, on June 9th. While the French writer Clara Dupont-Monod won the literature award with her novel ´S´adapter (And the Stones Cry Out)´, Bahadırhan Bozkurt, who translated her work into Turkish with the title ´Taşların Anlattığı´, was deemed worthy of "The Lizi Behmoaras Translation Award."

Musicologist Ömür Şenol after a year´s work, has produced a brilliant documentary researching Sephardic music and culture. Şenol, who is both the director and producer of the film titled ´Sephardic Music´, also presented the stories of people in his documentary. In the framework of the documentary, he also exhibited the views of musicians, composers, writers, and academicians on the subject.

´Sepharad - Traces of a Multicultural Heritage´ Exhibition Opened in Amsterdam
Yunus Emre Institute Amsterdam, introducing Turkey´s cultural heritage to the world, is welcoming the exhibition ´Sepharad - Traces of a Multicultural Heritage´, consisting of around 60 artworks belonging to 33 Turkish Sephardic Jewish artists. The exhibition which was planned to be opened in 2020 but postponed to 2021 due to the pandemic, is curated by esteemed artist Terry Katalan.
