Avishai Cohen Trio in CRR with 50:50:50
The famous virtuoso bassist, composer, and vocalist Avishai Cohen is going to give a concert in Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall in Istanbul, Turkey on February 15th, in the context of his 50:50:50 project. February 9, 2020
Internationally acclaimed virtuoso bassist, vocalist, and composer Avishai Cohen, who gave concerts in Istanbul many times, is celebrating his 50th birthday with his epic project '50:50:50', performing 50 gigs in 50 countries throughout 2020.
The 50:50:50 project also acts though the spirit of providing opportunities for young artists, as once the iconic pianist Chick Corea had done for him when he worked with him. With his 'Avishai Cohen Music Award 2020', he's offering a young band or artist the unique chance to record and release their own album.
His message being 'Unity', Cohen's music embraces all the sounds from jazz, pop, classical, Israeli, and Arab folk songs.
In the concert that he will put on in Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall on February 15th, Noam David at the drums and Elchin Shirinov at the piano will accompany him. Don't miss the chance to listen to the Israeli musician who in his every performance offers a unique musical experience.
