Today I would like to introduce you to Yosi Mizrahi.

Hi Yosi, I am excited to have a chance to share your story today.

Yosi Mizrahi Interview

Where are you located?

In Istanbul, Turkey but I do travel for work.

What are some of your current projects?

Currently, I have a one-person show on HEDx; a success story and I am also filming a TV show for GAIN streaming services titled Mahzun J.

Could you share how you started and how you got to where you are today?

Everything started when I was 12 years old. I started working as a volunteer usher in the theaters. When I watched Nejat Uygur at the theater, I thought this is what I should do. I didn’t come to this status quo easily. I have been an actor for 30 years and I have gained many successes as well as failure stories.

Has it been a smooth road?

No, it hasn’t been. It’s been a very rocky road. There have been many people whom I thought were my friends but were not what they seemed to be. There have been many backstabbers.

Tell me more about your life and career

I grew up as a happy child. I stayed away from drama in my life. On the contrary, what fed me was the comedy side of life. I realized this was more helpful and started to make fun of myself. This led me to become the comedian that I am today.

What do you think goodness is?

That’s a feeling that makes you feel happy. You can’t have it by force, you can’t learn it, if you have it, you have it inside.

Who are you outside of your professional life?

I am a simple person who loves nature and animals.

Are you interested in environmental issues?

Absolutely. We are all temporary. Nature was here before us and will be here after us. We need to protect and take good care of our environment for our own well-being.

Do you think the world is not a good place right now?

Unfortunately not. Things improved after the pandemic but many assume that humans are at the top of the food chain, but this is a mistake.

How do you make the world a better place?

This is only possible by taking selfishness out of human nature because humans are unsatisfied and overrated creatures.

Yosi Mizrahi Interview

How can we all make the world better?

We can’t because that is not possible, that’s against human nature.

If you could go anywhere, where would you go (and why)?

I would go somewhere that’s less populated, I believe.

Could you please let us know anything else you want to share?

Life is very short and people need to enjoy life, laugh at things, and collect good memories because today is a present, tomorrow is a mystery we don’t know what’s going to happen; it is best to live in the moment.
