"Golda" at Hegkom Movie Nights
The Movie Nights organized by Hegkom (The Chief Rabbinate Education Commission) met the audience, once again after a short break, with the movie "Golda." December 21, 2023

The movie night on Tuesday, December 19th, participated via Zoom and moderated by Dr. Seyfi Işman, featured parts of the movie "Golda".
"Golda", starring the famous actress Helen Mirren, focuses on the dramatic and intense events during the 19 days of the 1973 Yom Kippur War. Israeli President Golda Meir, also known as the "Iron Lady of Israel", is face to face with a tough era. What will Golda, who is responsible for the security of the country, decide when Egypt and Syria launch a surprise attack against Israel? Millions of lives are her responsibility during the Yom Kippur War and she also has to fight a skeptical cabinet, whose members are all men.
