The Akıncı Collection, which received the Collector Honor Award at the TÜYAP 19th International Art Fair, is now in its new home IMPS.

The most comprehensive donation of art collection in its history is made to the Istanbul Museum of Painting and Sculpture (IMPS), the first and largest plastic arts museum in Turkey. Lale and Cengiz Akıncı donated their art collection of many years to the Istanbul Museum of Painting and Sculpture in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Republic.

The 700 works of art that make up the first part of the donation, consisting of outstanding examples of Turkish painting, sculpture, and ceramic art, are making a historic contribution to the scope and size of the museum collection. The "Plus 700" exhibition is curated by Ali Kayaalp and its collection art consultancy was done by Ebru Nalan Sülün. The exhibition can be visited until December 4th.
