The Future of Ladino was Discussed in Seattle

The 10th Annual Ladino Day, organized by the University of Washington, Stroum Center for Jewish Studies in Seattle, met the participants on December 4th, via Zoom.

The program featured a panel discussion, led by Devin E. Naar, Isaac Alhadeff Professor of Sephardic Studies, presenting four experts from different generations all working to keep Ladino (Judeo-Spanish) alive. The guests of the panel discussion Karen Gerson Şarhon, Rachel Amado Bortnick, Eliezer Papo, and Nesi Altaras discussed the present and the future of Ladino.
