´The Fact of the Matter´ Photography Exhibition at Schneidertempel
October 6, 2022
The first solo photography exhibition by Özgür Çabuk, 'The Fact of the Matter (İşin Aslı)', is being opened at the Schneidertempel Art Gallery on October 7th.
In many of his photographs, all of which have been taken by a cell phone, Özgür Çabuk uses reverse light to de-emphasize the people in the frame. The feelings of a person, emotions transmitted to us via looks and stances, seen or unseen, what we often avoid seeing in the mirror of ourselves, stand out in the artist's photographs.
The exhibition which will be open until October 23rd may be visited except on Mondays.
