Prof. Dr. Rejin Kebudi Chosen as Secretary General of SIOP

Prof. Rejin Kebudi, the Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Specialist and Chair of the Department of Preventive Oncology at Istanbul University, and Istanbul Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine Instructor, has been elected as the Secretary-General of SIOP - International Society of Pediatric Oncology, to assume her duties on October 2023.

SIOP is the only global multidisciplinary society entirely devoted to pediatric and adolescent cancer. The society has over 2,600 members worldwide including doctors, nurses, other healthcare professionals, scientists, and researchers. The members are dedicated to increasing knowledge about all aspects of childhood cancer.

One of the founding members of the Turkish Pediatric Oncology Group (TPOG), Prof. Dr. Rejin Kebudi, received the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) International Women Who Conquer Cancer Mentorship Award in 2018.
