An Expert in the World of Advertisement, Yakup Barouh has Passed AwayYakup Barouh, one of the experts of the advertisement industry in Turkey, President of ´İlancılık Advertising Agency´, one of the former presidents of the Turkish Jewish Community, has lost his life due to the complications related to Coronavirus. Barouh was 75 years old.
One of the essential names that helped the advertising industry grow in Turkey, Yakup Barouh, lost his fight against Coronavirus, which he had been struggling for 10 days in intensive care, on Wednesday, April 22nd.
Barouh who had been a board member of the Advertising Association ever since it had been founded until 2004 and one of the first members of the International Advertising Association (IAA), was also giving lectures at Yeditepe University. As well as his many editorials published in various media on advertising, he also had written a book named 'Daha Dün Gibi (Feels Like Yesterday)' where he told about the advertising industry in Turkey.
Barouh who had presided the Turkish Jewish Community, had also volunteered in many organizations in the community. The loss of Yakup Barouh, who was cared for deeply by everyone who knew him, because of his generous and charitable personality, saddened profoundly both the advertising industry and the Turkish Jewish Community.
