From the Museum of Turkish Jews: ´Besamim´

Besamim, the incense box containing aromatic herbs, spices, or fruit, is especially used at the end of Shabbat, during the Havdalah ceremony. The fragrant smell of the besamim comforts and soothes the soul when Shabbat is over.

The Besamim from 1895 can be seen in the Judaica part of the museum.
