Arkas Trio Concert in Izmir Bet-Israel Synagogue

Izmir Jewish Community will stage an Arkas Trio concert, open to the public, in Karataş Bet-Israel Synagogue, on Thursday, December 19^th. During the concert, Arkas Trio will perform sensational pieces from Schubert, Mendelssohn, and Piazzola.

Arkas Trio was established in 2011 as the first institutional trio in Turkey. The trio is made up of the violinist Tuncay Yilmaz and pianist Emre Elivar who are known as the prominent musicians of their generation and who have won prizes in international competitions, and the German cellist Gustav Rivinius who came to be known worldwide after he won the first prize in the International Tchaikovsky Competition.
