Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca trying to show that social distancing is crucial in our struggle with Covid-19, stated with slogans and pictures in his Twitter account that we can´t be as close as we used to be and that we should put some distance between us.

In the last 24 hours 29,230 tests have been administered and of these 2,392 people have been tested positive. 92 people lost their lives and 5,018 patients recovered yesterday.

As per Turkey's Daily Coronavirus Chart, as of April 28th, the total number of tests administered is 948,115, the total number of positive cases is 114,653, the total number of lives lost is 2,992, the total number of intensive care patients is 1,621, the total number of intubated patients is 845, and the total number of recovered patients is 38,809.

Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca via his Twitter account stated, "More than 5,000 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours. Our total recovering patient number is close to 40,000. The number of intensive care and intubated patients keeps decreasing. The number of newly diagnosed cases is in the projected course. We will have surpassed 1 million administered tests very soon. Let's not risk this success."
