Having spent his summer vacations in Cesme Ilica and Alacati since 1952, Bencuya became the sponsor for Sehit Ogretmen Necmettin Yilmaz Elementary School and kindergarten located inside the TOKI (Housing Development Administration of Turkey) complex built for families with low income.

Bencuya stated that the kindergarten also serves as a summer school and its goal is to save children of families with low income whose parents must work at nearby hotels and residences from playing on the streets.

Bencuya had also sponsored a school for children with autism today known as Konak Moris Bencuya Special Education and Application Center. The school’s entire expenses are financed by the government, the municipality and the funds provided by Bencuya.
