Today we commemorate our nation´s great leader, founder of the Turkish Republic, Atatürk, on his 83rd year death anniversary, with respect, gratitude, and longing.

Today We Commemorate Atatürk, the Great Leader

During the Ottoman Empire, Turkish people didn't have a say in their destinies; they couldn't act, speak, live as they wanted to. Many people were uneducated. Atatürk changed all these. All his life he strived to make our country a civilized, independent country. He managed to do so in just 10 years, with many reforms, right after he led the Turkish people through slavery and dependency both to the empire and other nations, with the War of Independence.

Today on November 10th, 2021, we commemorate Atatürk, who built the Turkish Republic and granted us, the Turkish people, our freedom, on his 83rd death anniversary.

He hasn't been forgotten in 83 years; he will never be forgotten... We remember the great leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, with respect, gratitude, and longing.
