Israel #1 in Top External Threats
Kadir Has University announced the results of its recent research ‘Social and Political Trends in Turkey’.For the research, 1.000 people from 26 cities in Turkey were interviewed. The research demonstrates Turkish people’s general tendencies towards issues such as domestic and foreign politics, opposition, military, justice system, economy and terror.
Under the title Foreign Politics, when assessing other countries with respect to their level of threat for our country, majority of the respondents regarded Israel as the biggest external threat. Approximately 70 percent of the respondents described Israel as a threat for Turkey. USA, EU countries, Armenia and Syria followed Israel, respectively.
