Renan Koen’s Piano Recital at Austria Culture Office
On Wednesday evening March 29th, Austria Culture Office will be hosting pianist Renan Koen. The evening will start at 19:20 with the screening of a film about the works of Viktor Ullman and Gideon Klein who were both sent to Theresienstadt (Terezin) concentration camp in the World War II. Following the screening, Dr. Petr Mares, Czech Consul General to Istanbul will give a speech on Terezin concentration camp.
After Dr. Petr Mares’ speech, pianist Renan Koen will play some of Viktor Ullman and Gideon Klein’s compositions with the theme “Never Again.”
